Featured Quilts
For this quilt, I wanted to play against the perfect symmetry of typical “plus” quilts by making them all just slightly off-kilter. I never tire of the great contrast that orange and blue provide, so this one is really leaning into that. It is made of 100% cotton fabric and natural cotton batting. The backing is a blue fabric with tiny white "plusses" on it. How perfect is that? The layers were quilted together with a diagonal crosshatch pattern in a bright blue thread.
I love this pattern! It’s such a fun way to play with contrasts! This modern throw quilt is comprised of solid fabrics in orange, pink, red, cream, and brown, with a playful multicolor triangle print that sets the color scheme in motion. It is made of 100% cotton fabric and natural cotton batting. The backing is a lovely two-tone pink print that coordinates beautifully. The layers were quilted together with a cream thread that lights up against the dark colors. The binding is made of the same triangle print fabric to perfectly frame the quilt and has been hand-sewn on.

I decided to go more “party” in tones than “camping” with this one and I love how bright and fun it turned out. It is made entirely of horizontal stripes of light blue, medium blue, navy blue, dark pink, lavender, and purple in both horizontal and vertical symmetry. For the quilting, I broke up all those perfect straight lines with asymmetrical wavy lines in a lavender thread that add so much movement to the design. It is made of 100% cotton fabric and natural cotton batting. The backing is a funky graphic multicolored print that brings even more party to the table. The binding is the same navy blue solid as the front, framing the quilt beautifully, and has been hand-sewn on.
