“Jill puts an incredible amount of time into her quilts. If you have any interest in quilts, then you know that it’s all about having neat and tidy corners and hers are seriously perfect! She puts together beautiful pieces and her quilts are truly works of art. But honestly, she wants them to be used and loved more than admired. And the baby quilts she made for my twins are just that - I’ve washed them more times than I can remember (we’ve been using them for 4 years now) and they have held together without any issues. Plus, Jill is wonderful to work with. Thank you, Nona J by Jill!”

“Listen you’re not going to find a better product. As an individual in general I am what society says “a bull in a china shop”, I am ROUGH on most things. I’ve ordered a handful of items from this quilter over the years and they all have been top tier. 12/10. They last, stay in tact, they are forever comfortable, and they really seem to be made with love. I know that seems cheesy but these quilts are a result of extra care and attention.”

Nona by Jill is an extremely talented fabric artist! Yes, artist! Her work is beautiful and carefully crafted. Each of our family members has at least one item made by Jill. My favourite is our quilt with Union flags on it. It keeps me warm and cozy while adding lovely texture and design to the room. We also have a few pillows, little travel bags, Christmas decor, and knitted hats. Her craftsmanship is evident in everything she does and will last a lifetime.

Each quilt comes together so beautifully, with fabrics chosen with intention and thoughtfully designed. I have had my first Nona J quilt for over a decade now and it remains my absolute favorite blanket EVER! I generally run quite warm, but I occasionally want a lighter blanket on me. Therefore, she tailor-made mine to be lighter weight than most, and it is just perfect. It’s also just the right length to fit over my feet when I’m snuggled on the couch. However, my favorite part is the design. I’ve always thought of quilts with traditional designs, but my style is much more modern. Nona J quilts prove that you can have old-school quality and longevity AND a gorgeous, not-your-grandmother’s design! My Nona J quilt pretty much lives on our couch, is constantly wrapping someone up, being thrown around, used by kids and dogs, and has been through the wash countless times. Not only does it show no wear, but it’s actually better and softer today than when it was first made. I LOVE MY NONA J QUILT!!!
