This design is such a traditional quilting star pattern that I couldn’t wait to shake it up with some unexpected colors and modern prints. I mixed up the diamonds with a bold yellow, dark teal, navy blue, dark pink, purple, and a bright white to really pop off the neutral gray background. The quilting is done with the same gray thread and accentuates the star design. It is made of 100% cotton fabric and natural cotton batting. The backing is a gorgeous multi-color flower design that includes all of the colors from the front and more. The binding is a navy blue print with rainbow stars that sets off the play of colors perfectly and has been hand-sewn on.
