I loved the idea of taking a very southwest-style quilt and making it with colors not typically seen in southwest art. It is comprised of solid fabrics in navy, light blue, aqua, lavender, yellow, and gray. It is made of 100% cotton fabric and natural cotton batting. The layers were quilted together with a geometric pattern in a light gray thread that really pops against the solid dark gray backing. The binding is made of the same light blue fabric in the quilt and has been hand-sewn on.
The pattern is Four Corners Quilt by Nancy Purvis.
